Marnie Roper – Integrated Energy Healing and Counselling

In one-to-one, in-person and online sessions, I weave together energy healing and counselling modalities to engage people in their wholeness – i.e.:

• as autonomous beings with interconnected physical, mental, emotional, and multidimensional expressions;

• as unique tapestries of ancestral, cultural and spiritual lineages;

• as interconnected with familial, social and environmental systems.

I use non-sexual touch, gentle pressure and movement with my hands, and verbal dialogue, invitations and questions, to track, bring awareness to, and support a client’s unfolding process.  I bring appreciation and respect for our physical bodies as the foundation of perception, experience, feelings and relationships.  Our bodies carry our own most potent medicine, and the knowledge of those who have gone before us.

Areas of focus:

• strengthening embodied presence, and conscious collaboration with innate healing intelligence;

• tending to internal wounds, and unwinding holding patterns underlying physical and emotional symptoms;

• reconnecting lost, fragmented parts of self;

• understanding symptoms and inner fragmentation in relation to familial, social and environmental systems;

• deepening self sense - ancestry, culture, values, purpose – and birthing potential; 

• cultivating intuition, self compassion and care;

• supporting relaxation, release, flow & healing.

I'm a descendent of early settler colonialists from Gaelic, Nordic and Germanic lineages.  My integrated practice draws training in hospital-based spiritual care, shiatsu, therapeutic touch, craniosacral therapy, gestalt and transpersonal psychotherapy, trauma-recovery, anti-racism and cultural safety, and psychedelic assisted therapy.
