Coral Lewis

My professional journey over the past decade has seen me through a variety of educationally rich and rewarding clinical settings. I have had the pleasure of contributing to thriving physiotherapy practices in both Vancouver and Seattle prior to returning to my roots here in the Cowichan Valley.

I completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology through UVic in 2010 and this inspired my journey into physiotherapy. After graduating with a Master’s in Physiotherapy from UBC in 2012, my passion for this discipline led me to pursuit continued education in acupuncture, IMS, concussion management, ergonomic evaluation, running assessment, postural restoration, mobilization with movement and orthotic management. I have completed an advanced orthopaedic fellowship in manual and manipulative physiotherapy through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. This fellowship granted me standing as a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physical Therapists (FCAMPT).

I find great satisfaction in treating all orthopaedic injuries and am keen to critically reason through diverse and challenging cases. My treatment philosophy is a holistic, full-body approach combining techniques in manual therapy/manipulation, posture and movement correction, soft tissue release, anatomical acupuncture, dry needling (IMS), and therapeutic exercise.

In addition to my practice, I enjoy staying engaged in the physiotherapy community by mentoring physiotherapists and orthopaedic fellowship students as they navigate this diverse realm of physiotherapy practice. As a lifelong learner, I thrive in an environment that facilitates collaboration and holistic care.

Outside of the clinic, you will find me exploring the beauty of the Cowichan Valley with my family and enjoying our rural farm life.
